Constructive criticism isn't necessarily the most fun part of working in a creative environment, but it does play an important role.

  1. Positive effects of constructive criticism are getting better outputs and even better ideas. It can increase pride when positive criticism is given and it can give a person broader perspectives. It can be negative because it can tear teams apart and reduce belief in one's own ability.

  2. The negative would certainly be how it truly does mean that someone is putting what you have created, completely down, telling you that there is something wrong with what you have done. Or even completely wrong and you need to start over, or you possibly have now failed the project.

The positive side of this being, it also shows you that you could of done something else to make what you worked on, even better. Constructive criticism is great to learn from if you actually take what someone says in a decent manner.

  5. Constructive criticism is good because it lets people add to ideas and add their opinion on everything. It's bad because people might get their feelings hurt.

  6. Attitude can be a negative effect of constructive criticism. A positive effect of constructive criticism can be learning new things and broadening yourself to become an "open minded person!"

  7. One of the most important and positive things about constructive criticism is that it gives the person a chance to realize mistakes that they've made and it helps them figure out what they need to improve on. It forces a person to look at their project from a different point of view.

However, constructive criticism can sometimes hurt peoples feeling and make them feel like their project isn't any good at all.

  8. it can give the creator of the project some new ideas to put in the project but people have a tendancy to pick out every little problem in the design or the style

  9. Some positive effects of constructive criticism is to help a person better their work and add ideas that hadn't occurred to that person. Another positive effect would be that through another's opinion the project being critiqued can spark new ideas in the one giving the critique. A negative effect is the person may give up or express their dislike of the critique through emotional attitude.

  10. I think it plays an important part because it gives you an opinion on the outside. It gives you the opinion on someone who has no idea the reason, story, ect.. behind what you created.
Although we may not like what is told to us, it opens your eyes to things you may not have noticed before.

The negatives is that you probably wont like to hear what's bad about what you created. it can make you upset and sometimes make you feel degraded.
But when you keep an open mind, sometimes the criticism can improve your creation above and beyond what you thought you could do.

  13. The positive effect of constructive criticism is really opening up to many different viewpoints. As for taking it negatively it could really put yourself down but you have to remember to be humble about your work at the same time as well as knowing that even if someone has something bad to say about it know that you did your best and always be proud of your work.
